In HUADU BUTAN town, Guangzhou Province, one tire enterprise who owns 20 years old- Guangzhou Pearl River Tyre Co., LTD, under the influence of the domestic and foreign rubber tire enterprises, has been engaged in the transition process for product structure.On the fifth Asian Essen Tire Expo, our journalists interviewed Mr Xiong, foreign department manager in Pearl River Tire company.
Following is the interview record between our journalist and Manager Mr Xiong：
1.As we know, Guangzhou Pearl River Tire Co., LTD owns nearly 20 years history, the products are sold well in domestic and international markets, owning 7 series products, more than 300 specifications patterns, two trademarks of them are rated as the famous trademarks by provincial and municipal department,obtained many honors and authentications.What's your successful mystery?
Mr Xiong ：The company has passed ISO9001 quality system authentication since 1996 and gained many product certifications both home and abroad, these achievements owe to the objective of our company, that is "customer satisfaction" and "Quality gives benefit".In addition, in the production process, company set up quality slogan, spirited mot for staff, efforts to build a good atmosphere with all persons care quality. From purchasing raw material to production, the whole process are all equipped with full-time quality inspection personnel to strict quality supervision, to ensure our products meet the quality requirements. The company increases the R&D improvement efforts according to the different markets, improve our products quality constantly, the pearl river tire owns the outstanding performance, get the favor of the user.
2.The pearl river tires engaged in the development and production of bias tres for years, this year has independent to develop radial tire, what is the reason for making this decision?So,how to realize the transformation of the product structure?
Mr Xiong：In recent years, the rate of using radial tires in market is increasing rapidly, bias tire market share atrophy serious, in order to last the pearl river tire vitality, let the brand continue to carry forward, the company decided to make the product structure adjustment, roll out radial tire products. In order to realize the transformation of the structure, the company raise funds for new equipments, increase "introducing, go out", introduce outstanding technical personnel and sends technicians to study the method of outside technical force, promote our technical team strength quickly , successful develop light trucks and cars product ,more than 10 varieties on the market, plan up to 30 varieties by 2012.
3. what do you think about the events of the Kumho Tires ?
Mr Xiong: Kumho Tires event was a caution for many enterprises in the aspects of control costs, ensure quality, balance cost and quality. When we reduce cos and control cost, at the same time, we must ensure the product quality, must not harm the interests of consumers, and can't ignore the life safety of the consumer, this is moral principle , otherwise will inevitably suffer punishment of market and consumers .Meanwhile, Kumho Tires events will also make tire industry improve the quality Standard and related system,which promote the healthy development of the domestic Tyre industry.
4. In this expo, what's main products of our company?Please introduce its performance and characteristics in brief.
Mr Xiong: the main tires on the exhibition we show is half steel radial tire, mainly with high performance LTR and SUV tires. LTR tires adopt widened tread, match with streamlined to deepen decorative pattern ditch and twist faconne groove pattern type,which makes tire own excellent performance for wet griping resistance. SUV series tires adopt multi-tread radian designing, combined with the sturdy shoulder pattern to improve the stability and balance control. Mulit-pitch optimization arranged, independent small Block designing, with the rill and groove, can reduce the road noise effectively, more quiet and comfortable. Soon we will launch some new PCR tires products.
5.Please introduce the next five years' development direction and the intended targets of pearl river tire Co., LTD.
Mr Xiong: The product structure of Pearl river Tire company will develop to high performance and radial tire these two kinds series in the furture, the radial tire will form the series of high performance with light weight, high performance SUV and car tyres.In 2012,the company's target is to reach 1 million sets of bias tyres, 40,000 sets of radial tires.
